About the Position

The support teacher at Wise School supports a small group of students in the upper grades, while working collaboratively with a team of teachers.

  • The position is for approximately 30 hours per week, with the school day hours of 8:00 am-3:30 pm.
  • You will work directly with the classroom teachers to support each student’s individualized academic needs in order to access the curriculum.
  • You will implement effective strategies such as reteaching, scaffolding, modifications and accommodations.
  • The Assistant Head of School and Director of Student Support will oversee and support you, the classroom teacher and family, ensuring the appropriate support and strategies are implemented effectively.

Compensation

Average annual salary of: $25,000-$28,000; details to be discussed
