About the Position:

The Engineer is responsible for maintaining the Riviera Country Club property and helps to assure the Clubhouse and equipment are up to Riviera Country Club standards. This position reports to the Facilities Manager.

You are an outgoing and personable professional with a keen interest in the hospitality industry. Essential Functions:

  • Maintains and makes general repairs to the plumbing fixtures, furniture, woodwork, electrical system, appliances, elevators, ventilation system and building structure of the club
  • Conducts plumbing repairs such as leaking pipes and faucets and clogged drains
  • Performs various duties involving painting, plumbing, carpentry and electrical work
  • Maintains the air conditioning, refrigerators, and ice makers other duties as assigned
  • Other duties as assigned by facilities management

Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Work Environment:

  • At least two years of prior spa, country club or hospitality housekeeping experience
  • Requires the ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with customers
  • Requires the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing manner
  • Requires the ability to bend, twist,  stand and lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. to perform normal job functions
  • Requires adherence to all safety regulations
